It is said that the Spirit was created when an ancient sorcerer tried to call back the soul of their beloved son. As the experiment failed a hungry spirit arose in the sons place, taking over and transforming the bloated corpse. The sorcerer trapped the Spirit where they thought no one would ever find it. But as the hero tumbles through the tunnels in search of trials and treasure, they  stumble upon the Slimy Spirit. The only known way to defeat this fleshy abomination, is to break the mask before it devours you.
